See the whole system
Technology choices only make sense in the context of customers, economics, capabilities and the ecosystem around them.
Profile & journey
I have worked across the path through which technology strategy becomes real—from products and architecture to engineering teams, operations and executive leadership.
Explore the journeyStrategy meets technology
I’m a tech CEO who sees strategy and engineering as inseparable.
My career began in electronics design and network operations and developed through technical, business and enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, consulting, product leadership and executive management. Today, I lead Cloud Gateway, a UK technology business at the convergence of connectivity, cybersecurity and cloud.
I have managed product portfolios across EMEA, led large engineering and service teams across seven countries in LATAM, built advisory propositions and run complex technology operations spanning data centres, networks, service delivery and support.
That breadth allows me to connect strategic choices with the capabilities, systems and people required to execute them. I work best when the problem is complex, the path is not obvious and the outcome requires technology, economics, people and execution to move together.
How I think
Strategy is not a list of ambitions or activities. It is a disciplined response to a real challenge—focused on the crux and expressed through coherent choices and action.
Technology choices only make sense in the context of customers, economics, capabilities and the ecosystem around them.
Strategy becomes useful when it identifies the constraint that matters most—and concentrates effort there.
A guiding policy concentrates resources, aligns capabilities and gives people a direction they can act on.
Ambition needs an operating model: clear choices, disciplined product thinking and execution that compounds.
Career journey
A progression from working directly with technology to leading the portfolios, teams and businesses built around it.
Leading a technology business through its next stage of strategic, product, platform and commercial development across secure connectivity, cybersecurity and observability.
Founded to bring business and technology consulting together with exploratory research and product co-creation around complex, emerging problems.
Built and led advisory propositions and multidisciplinary teams—connecting business strategy with technology architecture and executable change.
Managed technology product portfolios across EMEA, shaping portfolio direction and coordinating execution across diverse markets.
Led large engineering and service teams across seven countries, with responsibility spanning data centres, networks, service delivery, support and business performance.
My career began in electronics design and network operations and developed through technical, business and enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and consulting. That foundation remains central to how I understand systems, make strategic choices and lead technology businesses.
Perspective, earned
I have kept learning across disciplines because the most important technology decisions rarely stay inside one discipline.
